Requirements
- Hold a bachelor’s degree; Business Administration or Finance is preferred.
- Have at least 5 years of hands-on experience in title clearance, title examination, and closing operations.
- Have a solid understanding of U.S. real estate and title insurance/review.
- Demonstrate experience reviewing title commitments and interpreting requirements and exceptions.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Have experience with title platforms such as CSC, NETRO, or similar systems.
- Experience in lending, title, or escrow settings is a plus, including purchase, refinance, and commercial files.
- Familiarity with lien verification and closing documents is desirable.
- Communicate effectively in spoken and written English.
Responsibilities
- Review title commitments and understand requirements and exceptions to ensure proper lien positioning.
- Analyze deeds, mortgages, lien releases, corporate documents, and authorizations.
- Interpret legal descriptions, surveys, and title exceptions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
