Requirements
- Hold a bachelor’s degree; an analytical or technical field is preferred.
- Have 5–7 years of relevant professional software engineering experience.
- Bring strong hands-on experience with Node.js, React, and AWS.
- Have experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB.
- Have proven experience designing and implementing serverless applications on AWS.
- Have experience developing and supporting software applications in highly scaled environments.
- Have experience working within Agile engineering teams and development methodologies.
- Be able to contribute across development, testing, and production support.
- Demonstrate analytical thinking and structured problem-solving skills.
- Understand software libraries and frameworks and be able to understand and maintain underlying code.
- Be able to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and set priorities.
- AWS certification at Associate level or higher is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product, design, and technical teams to deliver software solutions aligned with business and user needs.
- Design, develop, test, release, and maintain back-end services, front-end applications, and supporting infrastructure.
- Build and maintain scalable applications using Node.js, React, AWS, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, and related technologies.
- Design and implement serverless applications and services within AWS environments.
- Contribute as a hands-on technical member of an Agile engineering team throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Support automated testing, end-to-end testing, releases, and production operations to maintain reliable applications.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve development and production challenges using structured problem-solving.
- Identify opportunities to improve engineering practices, systems, and processes.
- Manage multiple assignments while collaborating across functions, disciplines, and organizations.
