Requirements
- Matric is essential.
- Hands-on experience with commercial short-term insurance policies.
- Strong written and spoken English.
- Confidence speaking to clients.
- Comfort with technology and willingness to learn new platforms quickly.
- RE5 / FAIS credits, or working towards them, are advantageous.
- A relevant degree or diploma is advantageous.
- Experience on broking or underwriting systems is advantageous.
- Personal lines experience on its own is not suitable.
- Fibre internet of at least 50/50 Mbps; 100/100 Mbps is preferred.
- Able to work shifts aligned to UK or Australian business hours.
Responsibilities
- Assist with new business, renewals, endorsements and mid-term adjustments.
- Request and assess quotations, present options and implement premium adjustments.
- Help analyse client portfolios and assess risk to ensure appropriate cover and pricing.
- Support retention by keeping renewals on track and reducing policy cancellations.
- Communicate with clients, brokers, insurers and internal teams.
- Build working relationships that support long-term portfolio growth.
- Maintain accurate electronic records for audit and compliance.
- Assist with invoicing, refunds and general policy administration.
- Keep documentation complete, accurate and up to date.
