Requirements
- Have a bachelor's degree and 5 or more years of technical experience in data analysis, or a master's degree and 3 years of experience.
- Bring advanced Python/PySpark experience.
- Have advanced Databricks experience, including Unity Catalog, Delta Lake, scheduled jobs or workflows, and service principal authentication.
- Have experience refactoring and optimizing Python/PySpark codebases.
- Have experience building production data pipelines with enforced schemas, validation gates, and structured error logging.
- Bring advanced SQL experience, including stored procedure execution and read/write integration with SQL Server systems of record.
- Have experience with Git-based engineering practices, including branching, pull requests, code review, and CI/CD.
- Have experience working with cross-functional teams and translating requirements between business, project management, and technical projects or programs.
- Be proficient in verbal and written communications to senior and executive leadership.
- Be willing to remain in the position for twelve months before applying to other Humana opportunities.
- Preferred: an advanced degree in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, or Engineering.
- Preferred: experience with ETL and orchestration tools, data quality frameworks, pipeline observability, TypeScript front-end development, or ontology and knowledge-graph modeling.
