Requirements
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Have a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
- Bring knowledge of data structures, programming, and statistics.
- Demonstrate familiarity with basic descriptive and inferential statistics.
- Develop and execute simple queries and perform routine data analysis.
- Build proficiency with relevant databases and data marts.
- Develop working knowledge of relevant source systems and business intelligence software.
- Demonstrate attention to detail and precision when describing analysis results.
- Use communication, information technology project management, and interpersonal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Document project requirements and scope with assistance from more experienced analysts.
- Collaborate with internal partners to develop reporting solutions and analytic studies.
- Plan projects and request-completion tasks with supervision.
- Recommend analysis approaches and additional analyses or reporting based on business questions and findings.
- Develop, validate, and execute simple queries and create basic reports.
- Perform routine data analysis, interpret results, and make recommendations under supervision.
- Present analyses and reports to internal customers and stakeholders.
- Report and help troubleshoot data-quality issues during profiling, testing, or validation.
- Participate in strategic departmental initiatives and follow data-governance and change-management practices.
