Requirements
- Have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field, or a PL-300: Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Certification or equivalent.
- Have 4+ years of progressive experience in Business Intelligence and/or Information Management.
- Have 2+ years of experience with data visualization and implementing high-value solutions.
- Have experience performing administrative activities across multi-environment infrastructures.
- Have 2+ years of experience working in a client-facing technical role.
- Have proficiency in one or more of SQL, SAS, R, or Python.
- Have knowledge of ETL, data warehousing, data marts, data stores, and cubes.
- Have knowledge of data quality and profiling, data governance, data management, and metadata management.
- Have knowledge of data visualization, dashboard design and implementation, reporting, self-service BI, data KPIs, and scorecards.
- Have knowledge of predictive, prescriptive, and descriptive analytics.
- Be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a Position of Public Trust Clearance.
- Have lived in the United States for the past 5 years and have no more than 6 months of travel outside the United States within the last five years; military service is excluded.
Responsibilities
- Identify data to clean, transform, and load into data models.
- Create data models, establish relationship cardinality and cross-filter direction, and build complex measures.
- Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations from data models.
- Assist with delivering solutions using Microsoft Business Intelligence tools, including Power BI, and related technologies.
- Partner with customers and OCIO technical team members on requirements definitions, solution designs, technical architecture, and delivery.
- Implement solutions using the Microsoft Power BI tool suite and related technologies.
- Use database systems, data warehouses, data marts, and models for business, financial, and operational analysis and reporting.
- Develop reliable, scalable solutions and optimize new and existing data models.
- Develop, publish, and schedule reports, dashboards, scorecards, data exploration, and visual analytics.
- Provide feedback and coaching to team members on Microsoft Power BI and related technologies.
