Requirements
- Minimum 7 years in business intelligence or analytics.
- Direct exposure to performance or affiliate marketing.
- Expert SQL skills.
- Comfort working with unstructured, complex data without relying on clean models.
- Experience building, standardizing, and driving adoption of reporting.
- Ability to connect data to performance marketing levers such as campaign performance, conversion rates, and revenue per session.
- Advanced LookML development, or equivalent experience in Power BI or Tableau.
- Ability to architect complex models and understand downstream impacts.
- Experience owning reporting end-to-end, from pipeline to dashboard.
- Experience working with messy, complex third-party data.
Responsibilities
- Audit existing reporting with stakeholders, identifying discrepancies, redundancies, and inconsistencies.
- Develop a roadmap to standardize reporting across assigned verticals.
- Execute ad hoc reporting requests with accuracy and business context.
- Analyze experiments, creatives, offers, seasonality, and CAC performance retrospectively.
- Partner with Yield, Paid Media, and Account Management to uncover trends and inform decisions.
- Develop trusted data sources to improve the efficiency of data consumption.
- Make LookML changes with awareness of downstream impacts.
- Educate business teams and establish best practices for self-service analytics.
- Own reporting end-to-end, from raw data ingestion through final dashboards.
