Requirements
- Have at least 3 years of experience designing and developing BI reports or dashboards using Oracle OBIEE or Power BI.
- Bring experience in analysis, design, development, customization, implementation, and testing of BI applications.
- Have proven experience with SQL development and optimization.
- Have strong knowledge of data warehouse and business intelligence concepts and data models.
- A BA in Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, or Data Science, or a BS in Computer Science, with relevant experience is listed.
- Knowledge of Microsoft BI technologies SSRS, SSIS, and SSAS is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Oracle ERP, CRM, and marketing applications is desired.
- Be able to engage with business stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Build business intelligence reports and dashboards using the Microsoft BI stack and tools such as OBIEE and Power BI.
- Design and develop data warehouses, data marts, and ETL jobs, and create test plans.
- Develop Power BI dashboards for end-user consumption.
- Gather reporting requirements, develop reports and dashboards, manage Power BI workspace roles, schedule and refresh reports, and support deployment and administration.
- Lead reporting efforts and act as the locally based subject matter expert for the client while working with global stakeholders and delivery teams.
- Plan and implement Power BI adoption by defining scope, roadmaps, and milestones and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Organize data extraction, formatting, classification, analysis, modeling, and mapping.
- Identify sources of truth, consolidate data from different sources, and align data flows with data architecture and process design.
- Build standardized and on-demand executive dashboards, reports, metrics, and KPIs using Power BI.
- Analyze data discrepancies to identify root causes and propose long-term solutions.
