Requirements
- Have at least 3 years of experience designing and developing BI reports or dashboards using Oracle OBIEE or Power BI.
- Demonstrate experience with SQL development and optimization.
- Have strong knowledge of data warehouse and BI concepts and data models.
- Bring an exceptional background in BI application analysis, design, development, customization, implementation, and testing.
- Have a BA in Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, or Data Science, or a BS in Computer Science, with relevant experience.
- CPA and MBA are preferred.
- Knowledge of Microsoft BI technologies SSRS, SSIS, and SSAS is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Oracle ERP, CRM, and marketing applications is desired.
- Be able to engage with business stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Build business intelligence reports and dashboards using the Microsoft BI stack, OBIEE, or Power BI.
- Design and develop data warehouses, data marts, and ETL jobs, and create test plans.
- Develop and administer Power BI reports, including scheduling, refreshing, deployment, and workspace role changes.
- Lead reporting efforts and serve as a locally based subject matter expert for the client.
- Plan Power BI adoption by defining scope, roadmaps, and milestones and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Organize data extraction, formatting, classification, exploration, and modeling.
- Consolidate data from multiple sources, identify a single source of truth, and align data flows with data architecture.
- Create standardized and on-demand executive dashboards, reports, metrics, and KPIs using Power BI.
- Analyze data discrepancies, identify root causes, and propose long-term solutions.
