Requirements
- Have at least 3 years of experience designing and developing BI reports or dashboards using Oracle OBIEE or Power BI.
- Have experience with SQL development and optimization.
- Have knowledge of data warehouse and business intelligence concepts and data models.
- Bring experience in analysis, design, development, customization, implementation, and testing of BI applications.
- A BA in Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, or Data Science, or a BS in Computer Science with relevant experience is listed.
- Knowledge of Microsoft BI technologies SSRS, SSIS, and SSAS is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of Oracle ERP, CRM, and marketing applications is desired.
- CPA and MBA are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Build business intelligence reports and dashboards using the Microsoft BI stack and tools such as OBIEE and Power BI.
- Design and develop data warehouses, data marts, and ETL jobs, and create test plans.
- Develop Power BI dashboards for end-user consumption and support reporting requirements, roles, scheduling, refreshes, deployment, and administration in Power BI Service.
- Lead reporting efforts and act as the locally based subject matter expert for the client while working with global stakeholders and delivery teams.
- Plan and implement Power BI adoption by defining scope, roadmaps, and milestones and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Organize data extraction, formatting, classification, analysis, modeling, and mapping.
- Consolidate data from different sources, identify the single source of truth, and align data flows with the larger data architecture and process design.
- Build standardized and on-demand executive dashboards, reports, metrics, and KPIs using Power BI.
- Analyze financial and sales reporting needs, including bookings, billings, revenue, renewals, service contracts, forecasting, planning, and pricing.
- Investigate data discrepancies, identify root causes, and propose long-term solutions.
