Requirements
- Have at least 3 years of experience designing and developing BI reports or dashboards using Oracle OBIEE or Power BI.
- Bring experience with BI application analysis, design, development, customization, implementation, and testing.
- Demonstrate SQL development and optimization experience.
- Have strong knowledge of data warehouse and business intelligence concepts and data models.
- A BA in Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, or Data Science, or a BS in Computer Science with relevant experience is listed.
- CPA and MBA are preferred.
- Knowledge of Microsoft BI technologies SSRS, SSIS, and SSAS is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of Oracle ERP, CRM, and marketing applications is desired.
- Be able to engage with business stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Build business intelligence reports and dashboards using the Microsoft BI stack and tools such as OBIEE and Power BI.
- Design and develop data warehouses, data marts, and ETL jobs, and create test plans.
- Develop, schedule, refresh, deploy, and administer Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Lead reporting efforts, gather requirements, and act as a locally based subject matter expert for the client.
- Plan Power BI adoption by defining scope, roadmaps, and milestones and collaborating with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Organize data extraction, formatting, classification, analysis, modeling, and mapping.
- Identify a single source of truth, consolidate data from multiple sources, and align data flows with the broader architecture and process design.
- Build metrics, KPIs, and standardized and on-demand executive dashboards and reports.
- Analyze data discrepancies, identify root causes, and propose long-term solutions.
