Requirements
- Have 3–5+ years of experience designing, developing, and maintaining databases using Microsoft SQL Server.
- Have at least 3 years of hands-on software development experience with C#, .NET, and ASP.NET web applications.
- Demonstrate experience designing, developing, testing, and supporting application components using the .NET Framework and C#.
- Have experience with Visual Studio and Visual Studio Code, version 2017 or later.
- Have experience with source control systems and code repositories, preferably Git.
- Have practical experience working in Agile software development environments, particularly Scrum.
- Work Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., aligned with Eastern Standard Time.
- Participate in a mandatory on-call rotation.
- Knowledge of logistics operations, particularly U.S. Customs brokerage processes, is preferred.
- Familiarity with Jira and/or Azure DevOps for work item management, sprint planning, and CI/CD pipeline deployments is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain SQL stored procedures, database models, and architecture aligned with business requirements.
- Monitor and optimize Microsoft SQL Server performance using tools such as SQL Test.
- Develop, test, and support web-based applications using C#, .NET, and ASP.NET.
- Build and maintain integrated solutions using Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Improve software architecture across new applications and legacy codebases, with attention to scalability, maintainability, and security.
- Manage source control, branching strategies, project work, and deployments using Git and Azure DevOps.
- Collaborate with developers, Business Analysts, Quality Assurance teams, and other stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Participate in Agile and Scrum ceremonies, support sprint planning, and contribute to continuous integration and deployment.
- Translate user stories, business requirements, and use cases into technical designs and software solutions.
- Apply security best practices and contribute to process improvements.
