Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or have equivalent experience.
- Have 5–8 years of professional software development experience.
- Demonstrate hands-on Java development experience.
- Have hands-on experience with Spring Framework and/or Spring Boot.
- Have hands-on experience developing REST APIs and web services.
- Have demonstrated experience designing and implementing REST- and SOAP-based services and integrations.
- Have experience developing and maintaining backend services using Java 17+, Spring Boot, microservices, JPA/Hibernate, and REST APIs.
- Have experience with Oracle or other relational databases.
- Have experience using Git-based source control.
- Have experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Demonstrate strong troubleshooting, analytical, and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise Java applications.
- Analyze and resolve complex software defects and production issues.
- Support enhancements and sustainment for applications using Java, Spring Framework, Struts, JSP, EJB, JMS, WebLogic, Hibernate, Oracle, and related technologies.
- Collaborate with architects and senior developers on modernization initiatives.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries and database integrations.
- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.
- Contribute to automated testing, CI/CD processes, and application deployments.
