Requirements
- Find important problems, gather context, and move work forward independently.
- Have a proven track record owning a product roadmap and driving measurable outcomes.
- Be technically fluent and comfortable working with engineers on integrations and data.
- Connect technical work to outcomes for restaurants and guests.
- Understand the needs of busy restaurant operators and what motivates guests to order directly.
- Be comfortable working with external partners and integrations that are outside your direct control.
- Experience in delivery, logistics, marketplaces, or other real-time operational products is a plus.
- Advocate for using AI tools to accelerate product discovery, execution, and exploration of product experiences.
Responsibilities
- Own the Toast Delivery roadmap and prioritize work that makes delivery easier and more profitable for restaurants.
- Improve dispatch to restaurant drivers and Toast Delivery Services couriers.
- Partner with the Guest team on delivery ordering, live tracking, and resolution when problems occur.
- Determine where AI or rules can reduce manual work on exceptions and refunds, and ship solutions with operator-trusted guardrails.
- Shape AI-assisted dispatch, proactive alerts, and ways to match delivery capacity to kitchen capacity.
