Requirements
- Demonstrate solid product design experience through cases or a portfolio showing process and decision-making.
- Have a proven record of turning customer needs into innovative, user-friendly designs for developer tools.
- Have experience leading multidisciplinary product design teams.
- Be passionate about helping team members grow and develop their careers.
- Influence and inspire others to use a customer-focused, data-driven approach to design and development.
- Use storytelling and communication to connect design decisions with business outcomes for different audiences.
- Be comfortable with both strategy and close involvement in team work and deliverables.
- Have mandatory English proficiency.
- Bring refined visual judgment and a strong craft focus to product strategy.
- Have solid knowledge of product and business metrics.
Responsibilities
- Lead a six-person design team and partner with Operations, Product, and Engineering on multi-year product strategy and roadmaps.
- Take hands-on ownership of a main initiative and deliver high-impact results.
- Shape and communicate the experience vision and direction for the product line.
- Drive complex cross-functional projects and ensure high-quality design outcomes.
- Coordinate initiatives across product lines to create a unified customer experience.
- Maintain experience quality in line with experience metrics and quality criteria.
- Allocate people and effort across projects according to priorities and impact.
- Support team development, create growth opportunities, and address performance issues.
