Requirements
- Experience in a customer-facing, revenue-tied role such as customer success, account management, inside sales, banking, or finance.
- Demonstrated ability to meet performance targets and quotas with a proactive, self-starting approach.
- Use data and curiosity to diagnose issues, identify trends, and make thoughtful recommendations.
- Maintain process discipline, manage queues, and prioritize effectively in high-volume environments.
- Communicate persuasively and empathetically, build rapport, and resolve conflict across platforms.
- Present effectively to groups in webinars, training sessions, or customer meetings.
- Build trust quickly and listen and consult with clients.
- Have a basic understanding of financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements, and how they relate to business health.
- Have basic familiarity with accounting systems such as QuickBooks, Intacct, NetSuite, or similar tools.
- Preferred: 2+ years in a customer-facing, revenue-responsible role in a SaaS company.
- Preferred: Experience in finance or accounting, or with AP/AR workflows.
- Preferred: Experience with Gainsight, Salesforce, or a similar customer success platform.
Responsibilities
- Own and manage a shared book of SMB customers, using data to drive outcomes.
- Meet revenue and retention goals by reducing churn, driving renewals, and identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Run training sessions and webinars to help customers configure and use products and follow best practices.
- Monitor customer health metrics and platform usage to prioritize outreach, mitigate risk, and identify expansion opportunities.
- Hold value-driven conversations with finance and accounting stakeholders to understand their goals and connect them to BILL solutions.
- Record notes, next steps, and calls to action in team systems.
- Develop product expertise across BILL solutions, including expense reporting and modern accounting practices.
- Collaborate with other teams to resolve issues, remove friction, and deliver a consistent customer experience.
