Requirements
- Have 1–2 years of relevant customer service, administrative, or professional experience; this is preferred but not required.
- Healthcare setting, contact center, or referral intake experience is highly preferred.
- Be able to work in multiple systems simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrate verbal and written communication skills to interact professionally with customers and stakeholders.
- Have strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Work with speed, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Be flexible to work either five 8-hour days or four 10-hour days, including one weekend day each week, as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Receive, document, and process incoming referrals.
- Ensure referrals are thorough, accurate, and complete.
- Follow up with local branches to ensure timely responses to referral sources.
- Facilitate communication among Case Managers, Client Services Managers, Clinical Nurse Managers, and Field Nurses.
- Communicate payer information to the internal Insurance Verification team.
- Provide customer service.
