Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred.
  • Additional years of relevant experience may substitute for formal education.
  • 12+ years of progressively increasing functional experience in the Federal government or industry equivalent required.
  • Established relationships within the Defense and Defense Adjacent Marketplace.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI DoD clearance.
  • Demonstrated experience managing diverse teams.
  • Financial literacy and understanding of cost structures and returns on investment.
  • Knowledge of government and industry trends affecting corporate business areas.
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients, corporate leaders, project managers, staff, and business partners.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute business development strategies across UAS, ISR, and advanced support services markets.
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue opportunities across DoD and Intelligence Community customers and acquisition pathways.
  • Build and manage a multi-year pipeline of qualified opportunities.
  • Lead capture efforts, including win strategies, competitive assessments, teaming strategies, and price-to-win analysis.
  • Establish and maintain senior-level relationships with government officials, program managers, contracting officers, and operational end-users.
  • Engage with customer stakeholders to shape requirements and influence acquisition strategies.
  • Guide proposal development and review technical, management, and pricing strategies.
  • Monitor defense policy, budgetary trends, and legislative developments affecting UAV programs and acquisition priorities.
  • Develop strategic partnerships and teaming arrangements to strengthen market access and competitive positioning.
  • Provide forecasting, pipeline management, and performance reporting to executive leadership.
