Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience as a chat-based Care Coordinator, care specialist, or similar role; experience must be in written chat support, not phone-based.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, metric-driven environment with clear SLAs.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and shifting priorities.
  • Write clear, warm, and professional messages.
  • Type at least 40 WPM.
  • Be available to work 40 hours per week, 5 days a week, within a 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM ET window.
  • Have a laptop or desktop computer (Mac or PC); phones, Chromebooks, and iPads aren't supported.
  • Have reliable internet and a private workspace.
  • Work independently and be receptive to feedback.
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferred: experience at a healthcare or digital health startup, or a healthcare or clinical support background with familiarity with pharmacies, labs, or insurance.
  • Preferred: experience with Slack, Zoom, and Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a full patient caseload through app chat, writing clear, warm, professional messages.
  • Meet response-time and quality metrics, including responding within 4 hours during scheduled hours.
  • Anticipate patient questions and resolve issues in as few touchpoints as possible.
  • Coordinate with pharmacies and labs by phone to troubleshoot prescription issues, insurance hiccups, and delivery problems.
  • Connect with dermatology providers as needed to keep care plans on track.
  • Keep meticulous patient records.
  • Monitor patient progress through ongoing messaging and troubleshoot obstacles.
  • Share feedback on workflows and patient trends to help improve care delivery.
