Requirements

  • Have proven experience closing or strongly contributing to closing B2B software or high-consideration sales; appointment setting alone is not sufficient.
  • Speak English confidently and lead live demos and discovery calls independently.
  • Be self-directed and comfortable as the only sales representative reporting directly to a founder.
  • Maintain strong CRM discipline and consistently follow a documented sales SOP without reminders.
  • Be reliably available during US business hours.
  • Have strong outbound phone skills.
  • Spanish language skills for communicating with Spanish-speaking clients are a plus.
  • Experience selling to SMB, field service, or trade service businesses is a plus.
  • Prior experience as an early or first sales hire at a startup is a plus.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools such as HubSpot or GoHighLevel is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle from research and outreach through qualification, demo, proposal, close, and onboarding handoff.
  • Respond to inbound leads promptly by call, email, and SMS according to the sales SOP.
  • Conduct structured discovery conversations covering pain points, current tools, decision process, timeline, and budget signals.
  • Lead product demos with support from the customer success team.
  • Send proposals and quotes, follow up on signatures, and confirm kickoff details for won deals.
  • Close software subscriptions as well as professional services and onboarding packages.
  • Research target accounts, build call lists, and conduct cold and warm outbound calls and emails.
  • Manage CRM pipeline stages, fields, tags, sequences, and sales interaction logging.
  • Report weekly on activity, pipeline, wins, losses, and blockers, and share call insights with product and marketing teams.
  • Refine scripts, talk tracks, and ICP definitions, and negotiate within approved pricing guidelines.
