Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or landscape architecture.
- Minimum of six years of related civil engineering experience.
- Proficiency in Civil 3D software.
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE) or Landscape Architect.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to contribute and work well on a team.
Responsibilities
- Prepare planning and design documents for land development projects.
- Perform process design calculations, prepare cost estimates, and use economic analyses to compare alternatives.
- Assist with or develop project scopes and schedules, initiation paperwork, budget reviews, and progress reports.
- Coordinate projects and design work with other Olsson teams and professional and technical staff.
- Direct team members on design tasks and coordinate assistant and associate professional staff and technical staff.
- Maintain project records, including correspondence, drawings, and files, and inform project managers of progress and problems.
- Coordinate with clients and attend client meetings.
- Assist with marketing and business development, including writing proposals.
- May serve as project manager on small projects and independently perform assignments on complex projects.
