Requirements
- Have 3+ years of experience as an account executive in SaaS, HR-tech, or benefits industries.
- Have experience selling through employee benefits brokers.
- Have full-cycle selling experience, from generating opportunities through closing business.
- Demonstrate a track record of meeting or exceeding quota and activity metrics.
- Be proficient in Salesforce CRM and sales automation software such as Gong and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Have working knowledge of health insurance (Consumer Driven Health) or employee benefits.
- Demonstrate significant outbound sales activity, including calls, emails, in-person meetings, and events.
- Have experience building a territory and creating new business opportunities.
- Bring strong presentation skills and the ability to influence and engage varied audiences.
- Be solutions-oriented and analytical, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment.
Responsibilities
- Drive new business sales within the assigned territory.
- Manage day-to-day sales activity and meet or exceed personal sales quotas and activity metrics.
- Conduct outbound phone and email sales discussions with prospective employee benefits brokers and employers.
- Develop and expand employee benefits broker channel relationships.
- Map decision-makers and influencers and engage them to win new business.
- Manage leads and opportunities to identify, engage, and develop broker relationships.
- Partner with marketing and product teams to execute sales strategy as solutions are enhanced or new products are released.
- Provide market feedback to refine the ideal customer profile across industries in the employee benefits broker channel.
