Requirements
- Have a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Bring 8+ years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Have a deep understanding of US GAAP and be able to communicate complex accounting issues to finance and non-finance personnel.
- Have experience managing a team and mentoring staff accountants.
- Be proficient in QuickBooks, Maxio, and Microsoft Excel.
- Monitor the company T&E policy and manage expenses via Brex.
- Have experience automating accounting processes and implementing accounting systems.
- Bring strong analytical skills to identify and resolve complex accounting issues.
- CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the monthly and quarterly close process, payroll, billing, AR/AP, general ledger, and revenue recognition.
- Ensure adherence to GAAP, tax regulations, and industry compliance standards, and mitigate financial risks.
- Lead the annual financial audit with external auditors and partner with tax advisors on federal and state tax filings.
- Manage treasury activities, including bank accounts, the debt facility, compliance reporting, and cash flow forecasting.
- Develop and implement scalable financial systems and processes.
- Lead and mentor the accounting team.
- Collaborate with Finance, Sales, HR, leadership, and other departments to optimize financial performance and operations.
