Requirements
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- Have 4+ years of relevant accounting experience.
- Have Big Four experience.
- Be comfortable owning full-cycle accounting, month-end close and financial reporting.
- Be able to manage multiple clients and deadlines at the same time.
- Communicate confidently in English with clients and senior finance professionals; the role is 100% in English.
- Experience with QuickBooks Online, Xero, Taxprep or CaseWare is a plus.
- Experience in public accounting, audit, tax, SaaS, technology, fintech or Web3 is a plus.
- A CPA designation or active CPA pursuit is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Own full-cycle accounting and bookkeeping, including reconciliations, journal entries, accounts payable and accounts receivable, and month-end close.
- Prepare and review financial statements and management reporting.
- Support year-end compilations, audits, reviews and tax-related work.
- Work directly with clients to resolve accounting questions and issues.
- Keep client deliverables moving and communicate when something needs attention.
- Find ways to improve processes, systems and the way the team works.
- Support financial analysis and other client projects as they arise.
