Requirements
- Have 3–4 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
- Bring hands-on experience with NetSuite.
- Have experience with accounts receivable, payroll, and card reconciliation.
- Be detail-oriented and able to handle high transaction volumes.
- Have strong written and spoken English and a clear, professional communication style.
- Be available during US Central Time business hours.
- Have prior remote work experience and fluency with remote collaboration tools and platforms.
- Have experience with tools such as Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace, or Asana, or similar platforms.
- Spanish language skills are preferred.
- Experience taking over accounting work from an outside agency and working directly with a CPA is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manage accounts receivable by billing customers and following up on payments.
- Ensure employees are paid correctly and on time.
- Maintain clean, up-to-date books in NetSuite.
- Reconcile and categorize high-volume card transactions, with the busiest period from October to December.
- Support a smooth handover from the current accounting agency.
- Communicate directly with the business owner and their CPA.
