Requirements
- Have 3+ years in a senior product design role, with a strong UX focus and demonstrated ability to lead impactful projects.
- Demonstrate mastery of visual design, typography, grids, layout, and colour theory.
- Bring expertise in interaction design, information architecture, and user flows.
- Have experience designing responsive and adaptive experiences for mobile and web platforms.
- Understand behavioural psychology and its influence on user decision-making.
- Have experience conducting usability testing, user interviews, and heuristic evaluations.
- Be able to synthesise qualitative and quantitative insights into design decisions.
- Be familiar with UX analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or Hotjar.
- Be proficient in atomic design principles and building scalable UI frameworks.
- Have knowledge of motion design tools such as Lottie, After Effects, or Principle.
- Have experience mentoring and guiding junior designers.
- Be able to articulate design rationale and influence stakeholders across teams.
- Be comfortable working in agile product teams.
- Have deep Figma experience, including auto layout, design tokens, component variants, interactive prototypes, and scalable design libraries.
- Have proven experience in fintech and/or SaaS environments.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute design strategies aligned with business objectives and user needs.
- Lead the end-to-end design process from discovery and research through wireframing, prototyping, and final UI execution.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and A/B experiments to validate and refine design solutions.
- Partner with product managers and engineers to support seamless design implementation.
- Design scalable UI components and contribute to the design system.
- Advocate for accessibility and inclusive design principles.
- Create and refine micro-interactions and motion elements.
- Use data-driven insights to improve user experience and optimise for business impact.
- Mentor and guide junior designers.
- Stay current with fintech trends and best practices to inform product innovation.
