Requirements
- Have 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design, with a strong focus on web-based information systems.
- Have experience designing software solutions for the medical device, healthcare, or life sciences industries.
- Demonstrate expertise in user flows, wireframing, mockups, interactive prototyping, and responsive web design.
- Be proficient with Figma, Sketch, Axure RP, InVision, Adobe XD, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign.
- Have experience creating and maintaining design systems and UI component libraries.
- Have a solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and SASS.
- Be able to work effectively within cross-functional and Agile teams.
- Usability testing and user research experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and healthcare compliance requirements is a plus.
- Understanding of front-end development workflows is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user needs and business requirements in the medical device sector.
- Translate complex requirements into intuitive designs.
- Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
- Develop and maintain a reusable design system for medical device software products.
- Provide UX solutions and recommendations to improve usability and user experience.
- Work with product owners, developers, and stakeholders throughout the design lifecycle.
- Stay updated on UX best practices and emerging technologies in healthcare and medical devices.
