Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in payer analytics, formulary or claims data management, content mapping, data governance, or a closely related field.
  • At least 2 years of combined professional experience working with United States healthcare data.
  • Strong understanding of formulary data, patient claims data, data quality, metadata management, data lineage, and data governance principles.
  • Experience with payer and/or HCP/provider mapping, content research, SQL, data modeling, and database management systems.
  • Experience with master data management (MDM), data profiling, and data-analysis tools.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Power BI for analysis, reporting, visualization, and dashboard development.
  • Knowledge of data privacy, security, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Experience with Reltio, Informatica, or comparable master data management platforms is desirable; familiarity with Snowflake is a plus.
  • Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, critical reasoning, and ability to communicate complex data and mapping concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to collaborate, manage tasks, resolve conflicts, mentor colleagues, share knowledge, and identify automation and process-improvement opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Map payer, plan, HCP, and provider records into governed hierarchies by reconciling inconsistent names, identifiers, relationships, and structures.
  • Research, validate, and enrich records using online and source-based information.
  • Assign confidence ratings, document mapping rationale, prepare outputs for senior review, and quality-check junior analysts’ work.
  • Monitor, cleanse, validate, and enrich data; identify and resolve exceptions and recurring data-quality issues.
  • Establish and maintain data quality standards, data dictionaries, metadata, data lineage, governance policies, procedures, and documentation.
  • Profile and analyze data, identify root causes of data-quality problems, and recommend improvements.
  • Develop and maintain data-quality dashboards, scorecards, reports, and data-management tools.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Operations, Content, Delivery, and Client Success teams to integrate data-management processes into workflows.
  • Support process improvement and automation, including AI/ML-assisted mapping with appropriate human oversight.
  • Train colleagues and end users, gather feedback, and translate user and client needs into improvements to data products and processes.
