Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, such as B.Com, M.Com, BBA, or MBA.
- Around 2 years of professional experience in accounting and finance.
- Ideally, exposure to inventory, General Ledger, Intercompany, Accounts Receivable, or Accounts Payable activities.
- Strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles and their application in day-to-day financial processes.
- Strong analytical ability and numerical aptitude, including confidence with detailed calculations and financial or inventory data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, email software, and ERP systems.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English, including the ability to present information clearly.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and manage assigned responsibilities independently.
- Methodical and accurate approach to reconciliation, reporting, transaction processing, and record maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Reconcile, monitor, and track inventory held at third-party hub locations.
- Create Sales Orders (SOs) and Purchase Orders (POs) accurately.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and maintain accurate records.
- Analyze inventory levels and ageing trends and support initiatives to reduce ageing.
- Prepare and deliver weekly Sales and Inventory reports.
- Reconcile sub-module balances against the trial balance and investigate variances.
- Process journal transactions according to standard operating procedures and accounting controls.
- Support finance operations across General Ledger, Intercompany activities, Accounts Receivable, or Accounts Payable.
- Analyze financial and inventory data to identify issues and support decision-making.
- Coordinate and communicate with colleagues and cross-functional teams.
