Requirements
- Have 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in enterprise technology or consulting environments.
- Bring strong functional knowledge and hands-on experience with SAP Finance (SAP FI).
- Understand SAP-supported finance processes, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), financial accounting, and financial reporting.
- Understand integration between SAP Finance and other business functions.
- Have experience gathering, analyzing, documenting, and validating complex business and functional requirements.
- Demonstrate business process and functional analysis skills, including identifying gaps and translating them into solutions.
- Have experience supporting solution design, testing, UAT, implementation, and issue resolution.
- Be able to manage stakeholders and facilitate workshops, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Bring analytical and problem-solving abilities and attention to documentation and detail.
- Work effectively with business and technical teams in complex enterprise environments.
- Be able to work independently while collaborating with geographically distributed teams.
- Provide significant overlap with Canadian business hours and work until at least 3:00 PM EST on a regular basis.
Responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand business needs, processes, objectives, and functional requirements.
- Analyze existing business processes using SAP Finance knowledge and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Gather, document, analyze, and validate business and functional requirements.
- Translate business requirements into actionable functional specifications for SAP and technical teams.
- Bridge business stakeholders, SAP teams, and other technology functions throughout project delivery.
- Support requirements analysis, solution design, testing, and implementation across the project lifecycle.
- Facilitate and participate in workshops, working sessions, and stakeholder meetings.
- Prepare and execute test scenarios and support user acceptance testing.
- Identify, analyze, troubleshoot, and help resolve issues throughout project delivery.
- Maintain project and functional documentation and communicate updates, risks, dependencies, and decisions to stakeholders.
