Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of successful sales, business development, or account management experience.
- Sales experience in OEM, industrial, manufacturing, or distribution environments is preferred.
- Experience working directly with OEM customers and industrial distribution channels.
- Proven track record managing large, complex accounts and delivering sustained revenue growth.
- Experience managing multimillion-dollar sales portfolios and long-term strategic customer relationships.
- Ability to develop and execute strategic account plans that generate measurable business results.
- Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and relationship-management capabilities.
- Technical aptitude to understand product specifications, applications, configurations, and customer requirements.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strategic and critical-thinking abilities focused on long-term growth and business objectives.
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to travel up to 50%.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to expand existing business and secure new opportunities across targeted OEM, industrial, and specialized markets.
- Achieve annual sales and profitability objectives of $5 million or more.
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities aligned with organizational growth objectives.
- Build relationships with customer decision-makers and stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.
- Manage large, complex strategic accounts and develop long-term customer relationships.
- Coordinate cross-functional resources to address customer needs, including pricing, product availability, engineering support, specifications, configurations, quality assurance, warranty support, and application expertise.
- Partner with Sales Leadership, Operations, Product Management, Engineering, and Customer Service to execute account-growth strategies.
- Resolve customer challenges and support customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention.
- Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer requirements to identify sales and market-share opportunities.
- Maintain sales forecasts, pipeline activity, and account information in applicable business systems; analyze customer and sales data to inform commercial decisions.
