Requirements
- Have 7+ years of experience in content marketing, brand marketing, or content strategy.
- Bring experience in B2B SaaS or a comparable technical category.
- Have 2+ years of direct people management experience or experience managing a blended team of employees, freelancers, and agencies.
- Have owned a brand or category narrative and turned it into a sustained content program.
- Have built or managed speaker, analyst, influencer, conference, podcast, or partner co-marketing programs.
- Demonstrate strong editorial judgment and hands-on writing and editing skills.
- Have partnered with Sales and/or Demand Generation to create content supporting pipeline and revenue opportunities.
- Bring strategic thinking, prioritization, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Be able to work independently, make decisions with limited supervision, and provide strategic direction across stakeholders.
- Have experience mentoring team members and managing senior contributors, freelancers, agencies, and external partners.
- Understand content and social analytics and how to assess pipeline influence and share of voice.
- Be willing to undergo a criminal records check upon hire and comply with applicable security policies and standards.
Responsibilities
- Define and maintain the organization’s category narrative, brand point of view, and messaging with Product Marketing and executive stakeholders.
- Commission or produce original research, benchmark reports, trend studies, and data-driven thought leadership.
- Build and manage an editorial calendar across blogs, LinkedIn, newsletters, executive communications, speaking engagements, and podcasts.
- Establish editorial standards for consistency, quality, relevance, and audience impact.
- Lead speaker and influencer programs, including prospecting, vetting, partnerships, event placements, briefing, and performance measurement.
- Coordinate executives, customers, external partners, analysts, and subject-matter experts as speakers, panelists, and content collaborators.
- Partner with Sales and Demand Generation to create pipeline-supporting assets, including battlecards, social proof, webinars, campaign copy, one-pagers, talk tracks, and sales decks.
- Manage content team members and external writers, designers, and agencies, providing direction, mentorship, and accountability.
- Own budgets for content production, speaker fees, sponsorships, and influencer partnerships.
- Track content performance through engagement, share of voice, category association, pipeline influence, and sales adoption.
