  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; equivalent education and relevant experience may be considered.
  • 3+ years of project scheduling, project controls, estimating support, or project planning experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project or Primavera P6.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis and reporting.
  • Understanding of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and Critical Path Method (CPM).
  • Understanding of resource loading, project lifecycle management, and baseline schedule development.
  • Understanding of schedule risk analysis and cost and schedule integration.
  • Understanding of proposal and bid processes.
  • Ability to interpret technical scopes of work and manage multiple proposals simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and planning abilities.
  • Strong communication, presentation, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
  • PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP), Project Management Professional (PMP), or AACE Planning & Scheduling Professional (PSP) certification preferred.
  • Experience with schedule risk assessment and Monte Carlo analysis tools preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed proposal schedules for new business opportunities.
  • Create execution schedules based on scope, estimates, historical performance data, and resource availability.
  • Develop schedule narratives and milestone plans for customer proposals and bid submissions.
  • Perform Critical Path Method analysis and identify schedule risks, constraints, assumptions, and opportunities.
  • Conduct sensitivity and what-if analyses and evaluate achievable alternatives to customer-required schedules.
  • Align schedule assumptions with labor and cost estimates, and develop resource forecasts and manpower loading curves.
  • Provide schedule input for contingency and risk assessments, cash flow projections, and execution timelines.
  • Present schedule assumptions, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders, leadership, and customers as required.
  • Maintain schedule templates, historical schedule databases, and scheduling best practices.
  • Support handoffs from Sales and Estimating to project teams, documenting schedule assumptions, risks, and basis-of-estimate information.
