Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- 15+ years of experience working with health plans in account management, client success, or another client-facing role.
- Strong relationships with senior health plan leaders and the ability to build additional relationships.
- Deep knowledge of health plans, market factors affecting their strategic priorities, and key players and relationships that drive growth.
- Experience working with or for large national health plan clients.
- Demonstrated track record of creating and delivering account plans.
- Experience working with senior management to advance strategic plans for key accounts.
- Ability to build business cases in support of client growth.
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills for internal and external relationships.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with demanding client expectations and shifting needs.
- Willingness to travel up to 20%+ of the time.
- A master's degree is a plus.
- Previous experience at a startup or early-stage company launching new products is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Build, own, and deliver strategic account plans for large health plan clients.
- Manage multiple accounts and build relationships with senior executives at health plan clients.
- Discover and drive growth opportunities with senior decision makers and internal and external influencers.
- Champion dedicated accounts internally and coordinate teams to prioritize and address client needs.
- Lead negotiations and partner with sales to close new business with current clients.
- Partner with Client Success to ensure Cohere delivers on current business.
- Work with cross-functional teams to communicate Cohere's value to clients and enable growth opportunities.
- Share client insights with Cohere leadership and engage leaders within accounts.
- Use client feedback to guide Cohere teams and identify additional growth opportunities.
