Job Details

Experience as a chief of staff or business operations lead at a high-growth startup, or in people or internal operations.
Experience building performance, onboarding, or review systems from scratch.
Experience designing systems that people adopt and continue using.
Ability to take ambiguous requests through research, recommendations, and completed outcomes without needing a playbook.
Strong ownership and follow-through, including noticing and resolving missed reports or slipping work.
Ability to hold department leads and directors accountable and gain buy-in across teams.
Ability to turn company data into clear stories, updates, and written documents.
Sound judgment about meeting value and how to use people's time.
Low-ego approach and ability to handle both company-wide systems and operational follow-up.
Experience in a services business or agency leading internal operations is relevant.

Build progression bands and connect them with scorecards, feedback, and twice-yearly review cycles.
Run review cycles end to end, including timelines, reminders, calibration, and follow-through.
Standardize onboarding, create 30-60-90 day plans, and run Pearl Drivers Ed.
Run all hands, gather company data, coordinate speakers, and shape the meeting narrative.
Run end-of-week checks with department leads and help manage company sprints.
Support weekly and monthly data reviews with department leads.
Audit recurring meetings and improve their ownership, agendas, formats, and outcomes.
Maintain internal processes and documentation in Notion and Docs.
Own founder-directed initiatives from scoping and research through recommendation and implementation.
Manage outside partners and turn completed initiatives into repeatable processes or hand them to clear owners.
