Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university.
  • 6+ years of experience in commercial execution, field operations, launch management, or complex enterprise delivery.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or similarly structured industries with large, geographically dispersed teams; experience in other complex sectors is also welcomed.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and deliver execution outcomes in complex, multi-stakeholder, matrixed environments.
  • Experience working within structured governance, operating rhythms, and clear decision frameworks.
  • Strong judgment and communication skills, with the ability to turn execution insights into clear actions and informed decisions.
  • Confidence operating in visible, change-intensive settings with shared accountability for outcomes.
  • Experience supporting large, geographically dispersed field organizations and understanding enterprise operating models and execution governance is desirable.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, bring clarity to complexity, and drive outcomes without relying on ad hoc coordination is desirable.
  • Able to meet the role’s requirement for 30% travel.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end execution for assigned Therapeutic Areas, including steady-state operations, launches, and enterprise change initiatives.
  • Serve as the single point of accountability for field execution after initiatives go live.
  • Monitor execution health and assess field readiness as initiatives move from deployment into sustained operation.
  • Use standardized business reviews to translate execution health signals into decisions and corrective actions.
  • Identify risks, friction, or breakdowns and coordinate timely escalation and resolution.
  • Partner with planning, enablement, and infrastructure teams to prepare processes, tools, training, and sequencing for field deployment.
  • Partner with Therapeutic Area leadership to turn strategy into executable, field-ready work.
  • Capture execution insights and lessons learned to strengthen standards and reduce variability.
