Requirements

  • Significant experience in legal research, knowledge management, or information services within a law firm, professional services, or corporate legal environment.
  • Hands-on experience with generative AI legal tools such as Harvey, Legora, CoCounsel, Lexis+ AI, or Westlaw AI-Assisted Research.
  • Experience designing or testing AI-enabled workflows.
  • Deep familiarity with legal and business research platforms such as Westlaw, LexisNexis, and Bloomberg Law.
  • Experience in a client-facing advisory, consulting, or service delivery role.
  • Experience working with vendors on product implementation, feedback, or partnership programmes.
  • A track record of designing and delivering training and driving adoption of new technology.
  • Ability to map processes and translate how people work into practical workflow designs.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple client engagements.
  • A master’s degree in Library and Information Science (MLIS), JD, or another relevant advanced degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Advise library and research department leaders on AI adoption, readiness, and responsible use.
  • Lead client discovery, stakeholder interviews, and workflow mapping to identify and prioritize research use cases.
  • Design AI-enabled research workflows and agents using tools in clients’ existing AI toolkits.
  • Build verification and human review steps into AI-assisted research workflows.
  • Coordinate user testing, gather feedback, and refine workflows before wider rollout.
  • Build relationships with legal research and AI vendors and develop hands-on knowledge of their offerings.
  • Translate vendor product updates into practical guidance for clients and internal teams.
  • Develop and deliver AI training, launch playbooks, and post-launch support for research teams and lawyers.
  • Lead AI and platform training for Harbor’s research and intelligence teams and develop internal responsible-use guidance.
  • Turn client engagement learnings into reusable methods, templates, and service offerings.
