Requirements
- Have 10+ years of professional software development experience.
- Have professional experience with Python.
- Have professional experience with Django.
- Have experience with large, complex backend SaaS applications.
- Have strong skills in modeling complex data systems.
- Have experience delivering scalable solutions.
- Have hands-on experience supporting production code.
- Have experience iterating on production code with customer feedback.
- Celery, RabbitMQ, TimescaleDB or Athena experience is a plus.
- Manufacturing or industrial technology background is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver backend features in Python for large-scale enterprise SaaS.
- Contribute to technical excellence through testing, CI/CD, and secure design.
- Provide technical guidance and architectural input across backend initiatives.
- Design data models and pipelines that transform high-volume sensor data into structured time-series events.
- Own a synchronization and reconciliation engine for distributed edge clients and the cloud.
- Build integrations that keep the platform and customer enterprise systems consistent.
- Design for correctness under concurrency, transactional workflows, and asynchronous processing.
- Build a configuration system for enterprise customers to tailor behavior without forking the codebase.
- Build reliable, fast APIs for latency-sensitive operational user interfaces.
