Job Details

Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience in localisation or translation project management

Have at least 2-3 years of experience in localisation or translation project management, ideally in a managed services or agency environment.
Understand localisation file formats, content types, and CAT/TMS tooling.
Bring client management skills, including leading calls, navigating difficult conversations, and representing the team externally.
Use project management and reporting tools such as Jira, Asana, Google Sheets, or Looker, or equivalent tools.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams across engineering, QA, and vendor management.
Manage competing priorities across time zones with strong organization, time management, and attention to detail.
Communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
Smartling or other TMS platform experience, enterprise or SaaS client experience, and proficiency in a second language are preferred but not required.

Serve as the primary operational point of contact and trusted advisor for assigned client accounts.
Build stakeholder relationships and coordinate cross-functional teams to execute and improve client localisation programs.
Design and optimize localisation processes within Smartling and client-preferred project management and content management tools.
Oversee the end-to-end job lifecycle and tailor configurations to each client's requirements, including effective use of AI tooling where applicable.
Resolve client challenges and internal roadblocks independently and collaboratively.
Identify and implement process improvements, document best practices, and use automation and AI-enabled solutions to streamline workflows and improve team efficiency.
