Requirements
- Bring senior-level technical depth in IAM and enterprise software, including the ability to review designs and represent the team to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Have a proven track record leading medium-to-large delivery, including owning six-month-scale projects from inception to release.
- Have guided 3–5+ engineers and delivered projects on time without micromanagement.
- Have hands-on experience implementing or integrating IAM solutions.
- Understand OIDC and SAML protocols and their use in complex enterprise environments.
- Translate business requirements into actionable engineering plans and manage stakeholders.
- Have a product engineering background with integration-heavy B2B products, rather than primarily consulting.
- Be able to deliver in a remote, asynchronous setting.
- Experience with workflow orchestration platforms or similar distributed systems is a nice to have.
- Familiarity with Spring Security and the broader Spring ecosystem is a nice to have.
- Experience implementing IAM federation is a nice to have.
- Experience with clustered or distributed, eventually consistent applications is a nice to have.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end delivery of reusable IAM components across the Camunda 8 stack.
- Shape multi-protocol authentication, role-based authorization, and federated organization management for large enterprises.
- Partner with engineering teams, SREs, QA, and product leadership to develop technical and product vision.
- Steward the roadmap and track commitments from support, incidents, and the product backlog.
- Improve reliability and efficiency of build and release pipelines.
- Ship security fixes within SLOs and reduce support load, bugs, and incidents.
- Coach and grow senior and developing engineers through clear expectations and actionable feedback.
- Help mature the SaaS offering so enterprise customers can safely and reliably integrate their IAM solutions.
