- Minimum 2 years of professional experience translating medical documentation
Requirements
- Hold a degree in translation, linguistics, or language studies, or an equivalent degree that includes significant translation training.
- Have a minimum of 2 years of professional experience translating medical documentation.
- Have experience and knowledge in pharmacovigilance and/or clinical-regulatory content.
- Have experience translating pharmacovigilance content such as SAE/AE, PSURs, SUSARs, ICSRs, DSURs, or Risk Management Plans.
- Alternatively, have experience translating regulatory or clinical documents such as medical reports, protocols, synopses, ICF, discharge reports, study reports, SmPC, PIL, or medical literature.
- Have strong Spanish proficiency; native-level English is preferred but not mandatory.
- Have experience with XTM or similar CAT tools.
- Be available for consistent daily capacity; the program is not suited to part-time schedules.
- Be reliable, deadline-driven, and flexible, and able to meet fast turnaround times without extensions.
- Healthcare professional background, such as nursing or medicine, is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Translate pharmacovigilance and clinical-regulatory content from Spanish into English.
- Perform machine translation post-editing on machine-translated safety content.
- Copy-edit translated and post-edited content for accuracy, tone, and consistency.
- Meet strict, non-extendable turnaround times and deadlines for time-sensitive safety content.
