- Have an excellent command of English.
- Have at least 2 years of professional translation experience and a degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field, or at least 5 years of professional translation experience without a formal translation degree.
- Demonstrate English-to-Burmese translation experience across informational, marketing, UI, product, and support content.
- Have experience using CAT tools.
- Pay close attention to detail and deliver high-quality translations while meeting deadlines.
- Be responsive, reliable, and open to feedback and revisions.
Responsibilities
- Translate English content into Burmese across informational, marketing, UI, product, and support content types.
- Copy-edit translations and perform machine translation post-editing (MTPE).
- Work on marketing, UI, product, support, informational, and legal content.
- Use the client-specific CAT tool after onboarding training.
- Deliver more than 5,000 words per week.
- Meet deadlines in a fast-paced localization environment.
- Respond to feedback and revisions.
