Requirements
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of accessibility and usability standards.
- Be proficient with Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Cloud, and InVision.
- Have solid experience conducting user research and usability testing.
- Have at least 3 years of experience collaborating with developers on user experience projects.
- Have at least 2 years in a senior or lead design role with hands-on project contributions.
- Demonstrate strong HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
- Have exposure to modern JavaScript frameworks, including EcmaScript and TypeScript.
- Be familiar with Webpack, NPM, Babel, and version control systems such as Git.
- Have experience working with IDEs such as WebStorm, Visual Studio Code, or MS Visual Studio.
- Understand scalable design systems and component-based architecture.
- Video streaming interface, media playback, and protection technology experience is a bonus.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and execution of responsive web interfaces aligned with business goals, user needs, and technical constraints.
- Partner with developers, engineers, and product managers to gather user requirements and translate them into functional designs.
- Develop user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and UI specifications to communicate design intent.
- Conduct and participate in usability testing, collect feedback, and refine designs based on findings.
- Maintain product design consistency through a shared UI component library and scalable design systems.
- Work with engineering teams to maintain design integrity throughout the development lifecycle.
- Communicate design rationale to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Navigate regulated development environments with attention to compliance and usability standards.
- Track industry trends, UX best practices, and emerging technologies to improve design solutions.
- Provide updates, reports, and documentation on design progress, challenges, and achievements.
