Requirements
- Have 8+ years of experience in global or multi-country payroll, including hands-on support across AMER and EMEA.
- Have experience leading payroll implementations, vendor transitions, system integrations, or other complex payroll programs.
- Have experience with international expansion or new-country launches.
- Have hands-on knowledge of payroll operations from processing through reconciliation and issue resolution.
- Have experience working with global payroll vendors and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Have Workday experience.
- Demonstrate program management, prioritization, and execution skills.
- Be able to influence teams and drive accountability without direct authority.
Responsibilities
- Lead payroll initiatives from planning through implementation, including vendor transitions, new-country launches, system integrations, and process changes.
- Partner with regional Payroll teams to define requirements, manage dependencies, identify risks, and drive projects to completion.
- Work with Benefits, HRIS, Accounting, People, and other partners to translate business changes into payroll solutions.
- Partner with global payroll vendors to deliver projects, resolve implementation or operational issues, and escalate risks.
- Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, automate, and improve payroll processes across regions.
- Support payroll operations through review, validation, troubleshooting, and processing coverage when needed.
- Establish program management practices, documentation, and visibility across the global payroll portfolio.
- Use data, technology, automation, and AI where appropriate to improve payroll efficiency and controls.
