Requirements

  • Have 5+ years of QA experience within SaaS products.
  • Demonstrate experience owning quality for complex web applications.
  • Bring strong manual testing experience.
  • Bring strong test automation experience.
  • Have experience testing APIs.
  • Have strong SQL skills.
  • Have experience working in Agile environments.
  • Have experience with one or more of Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or TestCafe.
  • Have experience with Postman and Swagger/OpenAPI.
  • Be able to write SQL queries, compare datasets, validate business calculations, and investigate data discrepancies.
  • Be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and continuously improve QA processes, testing standards, and best practices.
  • Create risk-based testing approaches and drive quality metrics and reporting.
  • Create test plans and test cases, perform exploratory and regression testing, and validate complex business workflows.
  • Design and implement automated testing frameworks and maintain UI and API automation suites.
  • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and improve automation coverage and reliability.
  • Test REST APIs, validate authentication, authorization, and error handling, and analyze API logs and payloads.
  • Validate application data against databases, reconcile data between systems, and investigate production issues using SQL.
  • Verify integrations and ETL processes and build repeatable data validation processes.
  • Maintain QA processes, release validation checklists, regression suites, status reports, and defect documentation.
  • Partner with developers, participate in design and requirements reviews, drive bug triage, and communicate quality risks to stakeholders.
