Requirements
- Strong foundation in test case design and deep QA experience from product design to launch.
- Demonstrated use of AI-first testing tools such as Claude, Replit, and Sigma.
- Comfort with test automation frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, or Appium.
- Ability to review requirements critically and identify missing or ambiguous details before testing begins.
- Experience with exploratory and risk-based testing.
- Comfort working closely with developers, reviewing code changes for testability, and participating in pull request reviews.
- Ability to interpret defect trends, test coverage gaps, and production escapes.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar agile project tracking tools.
Responsibilities
- Review acceptance criteria and user stories with product managers before development, identifying gaps, ambiguities, and untestable requirements.
- Design test cases based on user flows, edge cases, and risk.
- Work with developers during development to review test coverage and pull requests, ensuring changes are tested.
- Conduct exploratory testing to uncover issues beyond scripted test cases.
- Track and interpret bug rates, test coverage, and defect escape patterns.
- Communicate quality findings to product, engineering, and leadership.
- Contribute to test automation coverage and help define effective automation practices for the team.
