Requirements
- Hold a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Have 1–3 years of Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable and General Accounting experience, or equivalent.
- Have strong verbal and written English communication skills.
- Be able to work overnight/graveyard shifts in Philippine time or within US operating hours.
- Have strong working knowledge of Excel, including pivot tables and advanced formulas.
- Be proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or other relevant software.
- Understand accounts payable principles, accounting standards, and account reconciliation.
- Maintain accuracy in financial records and prioritize tasks to meet payment deadlines.
- CPA or CMA certification is a plus but not required.
Responsibilities
- Review, verify, and process vendor invoices for payment.
- Maintain supplier relationships, respond to vendor inquiries, and resolve payment discrepancies.
- Reconcile invoices with purchase orders and receipts.
- Initiate and coordinate vendor payments, including checks, electronic transfers, and ACH payments.
- Prepare accounts payable reports covering outstanding balances, cash flow projections, and aging.
- Track company expenses by evaluating payment terms and negotiating vendor discounts.
- Resolve accounts payable issues, including disputes, late payments, and missing documentation.
