Requirements
- Demonstrated experience applying Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) practices in a PMO or enterprise portfolio environment.
- At least seven years of progressively responsible experience in project or programme management, administration, or a related area.
- Experience successfully managing and completing complex projects in a multicultural environment.
- Knowledge of SPM concepts, processes, and methodologies.
- Experience using an SPM platform for portfolio planning, prioritization, governance, demand and project management, resource and capacity management, benefits tracking, and reporting.
- Working experience with a pension or financial ERP system.
- Experience implementing projects and programs end to end, including process improvement, planning, implementation, tracking, documentation, reporting, and dashboards.
- Advanced university degree or equivalent in business administration, management, economics, computer science, information systems, or a related field; a first-level degree with qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu.
- Professional project management certification such as PRINCE2, PMP, or equivalent.
- ServiceNow SPM implementation, configuration, or operational experience is desirable.
- System design knowledge and understanding of the UN system are desirable.
- Must use a personal laptop and be comfortable with company security software and device management tools installed for the engagement.
Responsibilities
- Oversee a portfolio of projects, monitor performance, risks, opportunities, and corrective actions, and align work with organizational priorities.
- Manage stakeholder communication across the portfolio and provide regular updates to senior management.
- Apply PMO governance standards, frameworks, and best practices, including project reviews, quality monitoring, risk management, and issue escalation.
- Support the design, implementation, adoption, and continuous improvement of ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management, including portfolio structures, workflows, dashboards, reporting, governance processes, and data quality.
- Support SPM implementation activities such as process design, data readiness, testing, stakeholder engagement, resource management, and benefits tracking.
- Improve PMO tools and processes for project tracking, portfolio reporting, governance, and project management effectiveness.
- Support Fund-wide critical projects and work with project managers to strengthen delivery and address complex project issues.
- Mentor project managers and promote collaboration and continuous improvement across cross-functional teams.
- Work with senior leadership on portfolio prioritization, demand management, resource and capacity planning, benefits tracking, and strategic alignment.
- Maintain project and portfolio performance reports, executive dashboards, documentation, and consistent reporting practices.
