Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- 5–8 years of experience designing and developing enterprise integration solutions, including APIs, messaging, event-driven, and serverless architectures.
- Expert-level proficiency in Azure Integration Services, including Azure Service Bus, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Event Grid, and API Management.
- Strong experience with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics, including KQL.
- Exposure to AWS Lambda, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, and API Gateway.
- Strong programming skills in Python and/or C#, and working knowledge of SQL.
- Experience designing and consuming REST APIs using JSON, XML, OpenAPI, and OAuth 2.0.
- Working knowledge of CI/CD automation with GitHub Actions, Git version control, and infrastructure as code using Terraform, ARM, or Bicep.
- Good understanding of GxP, GDPR/HIPAA, and applicable CFR/CTR/CTD regulations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team and meet deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain integrations using Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, Event Grid, and API Management.
- Develop REST/JSON and SOAP/XML API integrations between internal systems, SaaS applications, vendors, and the Alimentiv Data Platform.
- Implement messaging and event-driven patterns, including queues, topics/subscriptions, publish/subscribe, and dead-letter handling.
- Build serverless functions in Python and/or C# for transformation, orchestration, and custom connectors.
- Implement centralized logging and monitoring with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics; build alerts, dashboards, and health checks.
- Troubleshoot production integration issues and support incident, problem, and change management processes.
- Automate builds and deployments with Terraform and Git-based CI/CD, and manage integration infrastructure using infrastructure as code.
- Secure integrations using Microsoft Entra ID, managed identities, OAuth 2.0, and Azure Key Vault; maintain audit trails and validation documentation.
- Work with application owners, vendors, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to define integration requirements and recommend integration approaches.
- Participate in technical design reviews, guide junior developers, and contribute to integration architecture and technical roadmaps.
