Requirements
- Have 7+ years of experience in nondiscrimination testing.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of ERISA, the Internal Revenue Code, and related regulations.
- Have NIPA or ASPPA credentials, or a four-year college degree.
- Bring strong research, analytical, and critical-thinking skills and close attention to detail.
- Identify oversights and assess complex work products accurately and consistently.
- Organize work effectively and manage multiple priorities in a changing environment.
- Show a coachable mindset and commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to colleagues.
- Experience with Corbel Documents, Pension Pro, and ASC is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Review annual trust accounting, ADP/ACP testing, 401(a)(4) testing, 410(b) testing, Form 5500, contribution calculations, and safe harbor compliance work.
- Perform quality reviews of work produced by other departments as needed.
- Identify errors, omissions, compliance issues, and opportunities to improve work accuracy and consistency.
- Provide constructive feedback, coaching, and training to junior staff based on review findings.
- Interpret retirement plan documents and related notices to support accurate administration and compliance.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives, standards development, and client service projects when time permits.
- Monitor new regulations and legislation that may affect retirement plan administration.
- Strengthen professional knowledge through industry seminars, continuing education, and independent study.
